Entry Sales/Service Person
The successful candidate should:
- be able to assist in sales when store is busy
- possess both good written and oral communication skills
- be prepared to become proficient with our point of sales and service computer systems
- aid in updating blog section of our website
- desire to provide a can do level of service: customers must come to love you
- have the ability to recognize and address customer needs while their machine is in service, ie more ram, bigger HD, AppleCare etc
- have the desire to become a full Apple-certified Macintosh technician/ or sales specialist > we will train
- must be able to stay on your feet for most of the day in a busy and hectic environment
- must be able to work on some weekends
- be able to perform basic hardware upgrades on Apple Macintosh computers including memory and hard drive installs
- be able to run simple diagnostics on used machines to determine if we should purchase them
- once tested, perform sales prep tasks on used systems: erase the hard drive (zero data), install new system software, upgrade memory or hard drive and then clean the machine so it can be resold
Required
Some post secondary education
Experience with Apple computers and Mac OS X including prior versions
Strong interpersonal skills
Some technical or service experience
